Austin, I think we actually agree on something today. I kinda feel bad for Hannity being outed and shamed by association today. I am eager to hear more of Judge Wood’s reasoning for why she compelled Cohen’s attorneys to reveal the third client’s identity, but I sympathize with Hannity, for the way the embarrassing info came out.
I am struggling with a bit of schadenfreude as well, because Hannity is a blowhard sycophant, a phony culture war demagogue. But still perhaps he didn’t deserve this.
Consider this, though, Hannity the prominent TV personality had to know that in this day and age, the truth of his association with Cohen will eventually come out … he should have gotten in front of the story, released a statement explaining that his dealings with Cohen were real & harmless.
Until we learn otherwise, I will give Hannity the benefit of the doubt that he did not employ Cohen to relay hush money to an adult film actress.
