Dermott, cc Jeff, I did have to consult a dictionary, or Wikipedia to be precise, I hadn’t heard this term before. I see it is a psychological-speech-disorder sometimes caused by brain injury. Now I am curious what you meant exactly. I take it as commentary on our tendancy to hear what we want to hear, and to repeat it for self-reassurance, i.e. cognitive bias, i.e. staying within echo chambers, am I on the right track?
