Spring all around, on this outdoor amble,
Head downcast, quietly,
My thoughts, like fleeting dreams they ramble,
Dissolve distrustfully.

I pay no heed to the philandering
Branches' embrace overhead,
My eyes fix on the shadows' menacing
Earthbound vibrations instead.
