I was careful to write “most pre-teens today know enough…” I will let Jack Preston King speak to his thesis that Nonody Believes the bearded old man myth. As we know from taking the SAT’s, absolute statements are near impossible to defend.

My main point, hope it came across, was that the evolution of God-views toward more nebulous, fuzzy, ‘spiritual’ narratives doesn’t legitimize religiosity.
