hi Dewi, well I’ve never been to nor imagined Brisbane before, but your imagery of colors & rain reminded me of this quintessential Boston verse:

Steady blue, clear view
Flashing blue, clouds due
Steady red, storms ahead
Flashing red, snow instead

There is a weather beacon on top of the Old John Hancock tower (the short stumpy one in the picture), and this poem is the key to interpreting the beacon light signals.
