hi Tracy, yes they’ve made a heavy investment in infrastructure 😉, on my last submission attempt I got an auto-reply email (!!) to expect a “reply within two weeks.”

this is in itself amusing, 2 weeks is forever in Internet time, and stands in stark contrast to every other publication I’ve dealt with, where I received feedback within 24 hours of initial reach-out.

I waited exactly 2 weeks after that last submission before penning the above rant.

And I want to repeat the point lest it gets gone in the wind, this is all in good humor, I have found wonderful homes for my humorous pieces at The Haven, and The Cafe, etc. perhaps I was getting greedy wanting to also be on the roster at the pub that shall not be named.

It’s just another experience, and hopefully good for a laugh.
