I’m just watching the documentary Jim & Andy right now — had to pause half-way for this comment. I did see that red carpet vignette and Jim struck me a sad out-of-work actor (echoing Martino) trying to make the most of his 20 seconds. But now my respect for him is fully restored.
The best moment of the documentary for me: Jim recalling Andy’s daughter who he had out of wedlock, gave up for adoption and never met, now reuniting with her “dad” on the set of Man on the Moon.
