Interesting as always Marjorie. Ok I’ll bite — I bet the CDC is staffed in large part by medical doctors. And parents. And it is one of my favorite government agencies, in concept. I like the idea of a federally mandated watchdog that has the political capital to work with other national health bureaus and NGOs to keep devastating global plagues of the past from decimating us today.
Which leads to the other argument you hinted at. Anti-vaxxers threaten the health of the populace at large by eroding herd immunity. Whereas those opting for abortion directly impact only their own health, their own conscience and their own long-term life outcome.
