it’s the infinite regression problem (the slippery slope I spoke of). if there is a programmer of superior intelligence than us, who designed the simulation we are in — then who put him or her together? and so on and so on.

it is a more difficult thing to contemplate how complexity came about — through billions of years of quantum uncertainty, mutation and selection — in a closed system with some amazing laws of nature, but without outside help.
