Jack, for the sake of completeness, we have to state that we don’t know what happened — this could be a made up andcdote, or our heroine Clarissa could have embellished her story.
But you’re right, I don’t deny that some dreams can have parallels with future events. Also, if enough people spill enough coffee, eventually one of those stains will look like a bust of Jesus (or Willem Defoe).
My only issue is with assigning the precognitive label to something which is really just a coincidence. My explanation may be less sexy, but it requires fewer assumptions.
