Kylin, I commend your efforts! You chose a tough one.
It’s a keen observation that Hungarian sentences tend to be shorter, even though our words on average are longer — as is natural in agglutinative languages. I picked up on this qualitative difference when I began to translate poetry from Hungarian. Indeed we use a lot fewer auxiliary verbs, and our pronouns and prepositions are baked into or implied by our verbs & nouns.
