Mike, do you mean Medium as as a digital platform for poetry, or the constraints of the single-spacing convention in particular? I’m not much of a poet, I tend to eschew sentence-ending periods and most punctuation when writing verse, here is one recent attempt:

I have found Medium to be a decent digital canvas for poetry. The one challenge was the default paragraph-style double-spacing between lines, one I figured out how to get around that I was golden. I’d be curious to hear from my favorite resident poet Meg on this.
