Being transgender is real, and it IS a mental illness

That is a horrible thing to say and a sad way to view the world & your fellow humankind. The only mental illness I sense here is a visceral disdain for people who are different from you and earnestly seeking peace with their identities.

but … I do have to give you credit for putting some distance between your views & Fred, I would too, in your shoes.
