Randy, have to admit catchy titles are an art as well as a marketing hook, and have been around since the dawn of journalism. E.g. for The Onion it is a badge of honor.

Click-bait to me is toxic because it purposefully misleads/misrepresents. Well, sometimes … it is a fine line. It is a much larger topic to tackle.

I took on “Stop…” articles not because they’re click-bait, but because of their bossy tone.
