thanks Bebe for a fair and level-headed response. I would like to ask what you consider “absurdities inherent in an evolutionary (across species)”.
There is plenty of confusion from apologists on this, statements like “no one has ever seen a cat-dog” and “I couldn’t possibly be a descendant of chimpanzees.”
That is just not how it works. All chimpanzees and humans are descended from a common primate species that existed tens of millions of years ago. And you & I & the coffee beans that went into your morning cup are descended from a common species that existed billions of years ago.
It is all so beautiful, almost spiritually so 😉 Thank God for Darwinian evolution, I say with a smile.
