thanks Daniele - I love sonnets too! and there are so many kinds, English, Petrarchan, even one — I can’t recall what that form is called — which is 10.5 lines, exactly three quarters of a regular sonnet.
Next time for the added challenge you can try to write it in iambic pentameter, as I mentioned in my private comment. 10 syllables, 5 iambs in every line, beginning on a “down”beat. I think you have the ear for it, many of the lines that you have here already do follow that meter.
