thanks K — this was a few months back, and I did semi-consciously change my behavior after that day, audibly saying “Good Morning” or “Thank You” to each train conductor now instead of just flashing my monthly as most riders do. I don’t mind having gotten sucked in, as I did throw the guy some sunshine at the end, but I regretted my knee-jerk 'bro codery' … but I think I would’ve shown the same reaction to a female rider also.
