yes that seems to be the case, for now. and I really enjoy a degree of unpredictability in our world. examples: 2 nights ago a black bear wondered into our campground. could it have been predicted? then yesterday, we went whitewater rafting, and 1 of our party fell into the water (she’s fine). could it have been predicted?

later today I am going for a run. when I get to the lake, I may go clockwise or counter-clockwise. I don’t yet know which direction I will take today. is there a model out there that already knows the answer?

the world would be so much more boring if the answer to the above were, yes, yes, yes
