you’re right, A, series are very anonymous, by design or by neglect — my suspicion is it’s a combination of both. you can discover who subscribed to your series (which users rarely do), but not the usual list of ‘fans’.

I still enjoy the flip-book concept and create series on Medium regularly, but the odds are stacked against it becoming mainstream, for reasons I dissected recently:
